Mark Wasserman is a Palm Springs native bringing several years of award-winning community relations and communications experience to Brad Schmett Real Estate Group. Mark’s energy and passion for the community at large Brad Schmett Real Estate Group’s proven success.
His passion for Community Relations began as a Deputy Sheriff and Investigator with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department where he earned the Lifesaving Award in 1996. Mark also served as Public Information Officer for the Department and conducted interviews on both CNN and Fox News.
After leaving the Department, Mark worked as the Vice President of Municipal Marketing for Waste Management earning a spot in the company’s Circle of Excellence in 2000. From there, Mark moved to the City of Indio where he was the Assistant to the City Manager and the City’s Public Information Officer. He wrote the City’s Homeless Policy and trained staff on emergency preparedness; conducting a City-wide earthquake drill that was met with much praise from City officials.
With over 8 years in real estate, Mark’s achievements include leading a successful real estate team in the Palm Springs area and serving as the Regional Director for the Lucido Agency with Keller Williams. During his tenure with the Lucido Agency, Mark was responsible for expansion throughout the western United States.
Mark is an avid sports fan who enjoys hiking, golf and spending time with family and friends.
